Here at ABA Results we offer an exclusive ABA Camp for our clients! These camps happen periodically throughout the year - over spring break, summer break, and holiday breaks.
Since our camp is exclusive to our clients, our class sizes are kept small for maximum fun and maximum learning!
Each day at ABA Results Camp follows a different theme. We shape our activities around the theme for a day full of play and ABA!
Once a week we have a special event. It could include a fun snack, exciting activity or even a special visitor!
When we have our bounce house set up, it's always an exciting day! The bounce house is a great way for our clients to work on parallel play with their peers!
During our summer camp we have Water Day once a week*! We set up our water tables, sprinkler and buckets with water toys for our clients! Water day is wonderful for incidental learning. Incidental learning is called so because it takes advantage of naturally occurring “incidents” to teach important skills.
Our Movement Room features a colorful ball pit! Our clients can mand for the ball pit and tact the colors of each ball during their indoor recess.
Every year during our Winter Break we get a jolly visit from Santa Claus himself! He is a sensory-friendly Santa and takes the time to ensure that every client gets the time and experience they deserve.
We had the opportunity to meet goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and bunnies today! Again, we practiced manding to participate or not. We tacted the sights and feel of the animals! We practiced our social, community and intraverbal skills! We met our ABA goals in a fun & novel environment!
We loved this informative and fun visit from a local pediatric dentistry!
Our Clients helped us plant some amazing things in our Atrium garden!
We loved hosting our local Fort Myers Fire Department over Spring Break 2021! We were able to check out the inside of the truck and have a fun water surprise!
What better than a visit from our favorite fire fighters over Summer Break! We practiced our social & safety skills with our amazing Fort Myers Fire Department! Our clients introduced themselves, asked questions, tacted sights and sounds, played in water and learned how to trust and interact with our community safety people!
We had a fun visit from the Community Relations officer at FMPD, Sergeant Benitez! We were able to take a peek inside of his police car and use the loud speaker to practice communication skills!
ABA Results enjoyed a special visit from Officer McCoy and the Fort Myers Police Department for Safety & Social Skills during our Summer Camp!! Out clients practiced their intraverbal & social skills with the local police and enjoyed turning on the lights & sirens, checking out the inside of a police car, and receiving a special badge.
